Pamela Sage Photography offers both studio, outdoor and in-home newborn photography sessions. If you have a high-risk pregnancy and complications arise, please know that Pamela Sage is happy to come to you and your newborn in the NICU — with your Physician’s and hospital’s approval, of course.

Newborns have special needs and you won’t want to hand over your baby over to just anyone. You’ll want to make sure your photographer has been trained properly and knows all the precautions to take. There are no regulations or training requirements to become a newborn photography and anyone with a nice camera can claim to be one. Many people, for example, don’t realize that many of the common poses you see online are composites – meaning multiple images are joined together and the hands and arms supporting the newborn are removed.

Please know that Pamela Sage Photography is dedicated to newborn training, education and safety and takes the handling of your child very seriously. Pamela is continually taking newborn safety courses, hands-on workshops and has years of experience.

Newborn Portrait Session* — $475

  • 1-3 hour portrait session with experienced newborn photographer, which includes feeding, soothing and cuddle time which allows for multiple poses.
  • 30 minute pre-consultation (in person, telephone, or video). We’ll talk about objectives, location, what to expect, how to prepare and what to wear.
  • 10 Digital file downloads and print release for personal use
  • Temporary, online proofing gallery of 20-40 lightly retouched images
  • Includes three newborn poses plus one sibling and one parent pose. Grandparents always included for free.
  • Session can be done in your home or in my in-home studio
  • Choose from a wide selection of colored (including neutral) wraps and layers
  • Choose from a selection of bonnets, hats and headbands
  • Choose from a selection of wool stuffies such as bunnies, bears, hearts in various colors, rainbows, etc.
  • Complimentary design consultation for wall hangings, photo walls and albums.
  • Gift prints, museum canvases, photo wall displays, premium albums, and other products available for purchase

  • Additional wrapped pose(s) in or on other props such as bed, bowl, cot etc., if time permits
